Communication Subcommittee

STAAD STEERING COMMITTEE COMMUNICATIONS SUBCOMMITTEE SCOPE OF THE COMMUNICATIONS SUBCOMMITTEE'S RESPONSIBILITIES The communications subcommittee will be responsibility for: Reading, sorting, and transmitting all ideas for future development to the appropriate subcommittees Prepare information for the Staad Steering Committee website and coordinate website activities with the web master Prepare the action list form Coordinate communications between Steering Committee members Coordinate communications between Staad users and the Steering Committee Preparing booth at the annual user conference tech camp The chairman of this committee will have the responsibility of closing items on the Communication Action List after implementation by Research Engineers, Inc.

Message From: Dena Traina Communications Sub-Committee Chairperson At the February 20, 1998 meeting, the Staad Steering Committee established a committee to review the electronic correspondence of Staad users. The purpose of the committee is to read, sort, and transmit all ideas for future development to the appropriate committees. As chair of this committee I will receive this information automatically from the web site. All bugs will be transmitted back to Research Engineers for their resolution. Comments regarding ideas for future development will be sorted into the following categories; Analysis and Design, Workflow Integration, Users Interface, and Quality Assurance and Technical Support. The individual committees will then categorize and prioritize the suggestions and recommend to Research Engineers ideas for continuing development.
